Timor Leste Vision
TLV is a not for profit, non government organisation which is raising funds for the people of Timor Leste. Timor Leste is located to the north west of Darwin in the Indonesian archipelago. It is one of Australia's closest neighbours and is also considered one of Asia's poorest nations.
TLV became an incorporated association in August 2005 and with the support of new members became a registered Charity in April 2007. Our Executive Committee comprises of people from a diverse range of professional backgrounds with experience in the leadership of charitable organisations. The majority of committee members have worked in Timor Leste in various roles and all are dedicated to the long term development of the nation. This passion and dedication is evident in our mission statement:
'Working in partnership with the people of Timor Leste to support and strengthen local communities'
